Garcia doesn't miss his chance as MRO director for ACI Jet
Formerly serving as regional sales manager for one of business aviation's largest maintenance organisations, Alfredo Garcia arrival signals ACI Jet's growing prominence and capabilities in aviation maintenance marketplace.
Industry veteran Alfredo Garcia is director of sales and business development for ACI Jet's MRO division.

ACI Jet has appointed industry veteran Alfredo Garcia to its team as director of sales and business development for the MRO division. Formerly regional sales manager for one of the business aviation industry's largest and highly-respected maintenance organisations, his arrival signals ACI Jet's growing prominence and capabilities in the aviation maintenance marketplace. Garcia will be tasked with securing aircraft maintenance opportunities for ACI Jet's repair station by building genuine relationships with aircraft owners and operators, a quality which he is renowned for after nearly 30 years in business aviation maintenance.

A southern California native, Garcia has gained experience with hands-on aircraft maintenance, territory sales and management for a number of respectable brands over the last three decades. His relationships with customers, the FAA and aircraft mechanics has contributed to his success in business development and will continue in his new role at ACI Jet's MRO.

Senior vice president of aircraft maintenance David Jensen says: “As far as reputation goes, in my mind there doesn't exist anyone of more pure intentions, follow-through or integrity as Alfredo. He takes immeasurable pride in delivering on his promises, which is something that every business jet owner, and the maintenance organisations that support them, expects and needs.”

Garcia adds: “ACI Jet has a reputation for being one of the best employers and service providers in business aviation today. Only a select few get the opportunity to work with this kind of company, and when that opportunity arose, I knew that it might not present itself again. I consider it a bit like getting a key to the Mercedes Benz on prom night. You either accept the opportunity and run with it like you own it, or regret later having missed the chance.”

Garcia hopes to immerse himself in ACI Jet's culture and vision. He continues: “ACI Jet MRO has a reputation of providing quality maintenance services rivalling the largest, most well-respected providers in our industry, just not the size. There is a sense that this company is going somewhere and that it is doing so with careful deliberation.”

He also expresses excitement about working hand-in-hand with the marketing department as he builds upon an already well-established legacy: “Marketing is the first real taste of the culture of a company. Bringing the energy and enthusiasm that ACI Jet has for everything that it does to my peers in the industry is something that I'm very excited about.”

Garcia is technical chairperson for the Southern California Aviation Association (SCAA), co-vice president of the Arizona Business Aviation Association (AZBAA) and a member of the NBAA Maintenance Committee/Workforce Development Subcommittee.
