US business aviation MRO West Star Aviation has been awarded the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence for completing specialised training pertaining to aviation maintenance, safety and FAA rules at its Perryville, Missouri location at Perryville Regional airport. This is the second year in a row that this location has been awarded the honour.

Diamond is the highest aviation honour in the aircraft maintenance industry, and West Star is proud to be recognised for its continued commitment to aviation excellence. The 12-month programme requires 100 per cent participation from all eligible technicians who provide dedicated maintenance to West Star's customers along with a specific structured safety training programme.

“This award is the representation of the hard work and dedication of our team that make it possible to be recognised for continuing the reputation of excellence here at West Star,” comments Perryville GM Kyle French.
