Switzerland-based Nomad Technics has completed its first six- and 12-month inspections on two Embraer Legacy jets at its Basel, Switzerland facility. Maintenance tasks on the 600 and 650 series Legacys included routine inspections and defect rectifications. The company also carried out a 750 hour inspection and aircraft weighing on a Bombardier Global 6000 on time. Once maintenance events were concluded both aircraft, and their cabins, were deep cleaned.

Nomad Technics, the maintenance division of Nomad Aviation, is an EASA Part-145 approved organisation and provides maintenance inspection and non-routine repair work on Challenger 600 and 850 series, Global XRS, Global 5000, Global 6000 and Embraer Legacy 600 and 650 business jets. Other types include Cessna C525 series aircraft. “We are proud that we have completed our first maintenance events on time on the Legacy 600 and 650 aircraft as well as on a Global 6000 jet,” says Nomad Aviation executive chairman Heinz Koehli.

“We are looking forward to welcoming operators of Bombardier, Embraer and Cessna aircraft at our maintenance facility and to extend relationships with clients, aircraft manufacturers and suppliers,” adds Nomad Technics VP and general manager Roman Hug.
