Duncan's satellite facilities earn Mexican certifications

Duncan Aviation's satellite avionics shops in Denver, Colorado and in Austin and Dallas, Texas recently received certification from Mexico's Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC). This certification allows the three facilities to expand their avionics services for customers with aircraft based in Mexico.

“We're proud to secure these authorisations because they let our customers from Mexico know that we are committed to and respectful of their processes and procedures,” says manager of satellite operations Matt Nelson. “We've had several requests from customers with aircraft based in Mexico and we anticipate that will only increase, especially with the upcoming ADS-B mandate.”

The Denver shop has been on the ramp at the Centennial airport in Englewood for 16 years. It serves as home to both the avionics repair team and the engine rapid response team.

The facility in Dallas is one of Duncan Aviation's longest-running satellite avionics shops and has a new manager, Bryan Davis, for the first time in its 30-year history. It opened on 11 September, 1988 and is located on the Dallas Love Field airport.

The Austen satellite shop is located in the Atlantic Aviation hangar at the Austin-Bergstrom International airport.

It is important to Duncan Aviation to be able to provide service to all of its customers, regardless of location, and these three satellites join those in Scottsdale, Arizona; Van Nuys, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Houston, Texas as avionics facilities with DGAC certification.
