Lee Aerospace, currently exhibiting with the Kansas Department of Commerce at the Farnborough Air Show in Farnborough, UK, has signed an aftermarket distribution agreement with Avocet Aviation Ltd in the UK. Avocet Aviation will represent Lee Aerospace as its European distributor for aftermarket replacement windshields, cockpit side windows and cabin windows.

“Avocet Aviation is perfectly positioned to represent our product in Europe. Avocet has a reputation for carrying a wide variety of parts for aftermarket support and their reach is second to none in Europe,” says Harry Thurmond, senior vice president of business development at Lee Aerospace.

The partnership between Lee Aerospace and Avocet Aviation will be introduced at the Farnborough Air Show for the first time. Avocet now has the Lee product on its shelves and is actively promoting and distributing the Lee Aerospace transparencies from its facilities in Southend-on-Sea, England.

As OEM for a number of major aircraft manufacturers, Lee's aftermarket FAA-approved replacement windows meet or exceed the original manufacturer's specifications. Lee's newest programs include production of heated windshields as well. As an approved distributor, Avocet will have the ability to supply Lee's full line of aftermarket replacement windows.
