Avfuel Corporation has welcomed two new members to its dedicated sales teams: Joshua Diggs, district manager, and Jacob Jones, contract fuel inside sales coordinator.

As district manager, Diggs is responsible for developing relationships and overseeing partnerships with the airports and FBOs in the mid-America region, including North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas. Based out of Kansas City, Diggs comes to Avfuel with 20 years of customer care and management experience and a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Washburn University in 2003.

“Josh's extensive sales expertise and customer-centric philosophy was a natural fit for the Avfuel sales team,” said Joel Hirst, Avfuel vice president of sales. “We're excited to not only see him lead Avfuel's sales efforts in his extensive territory, but also to entrust our customer's care to Josh in his new role; he truly provides that personal touch Avfuel strives for each day.”

And while Avfuel's full-load division welcomes Diggs, Avfuel's contract fuel division welcomes Jones as the newest member of its team.

As contract fuel inside sales coordinator, Jones is responsible for supporting Avfuel's key accounts, assisting sales executives in analysis and customer support initiatives, and coordinating resources (internal or external) to exceed Avfuel Contract Fuel's customers' expectations. Jones joins the Avfuel team after graduating from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan, with a bachelor's degree in business administration. During his time at the university, Jones played varsity baseball, where he honed integral skills as a team player; he also gained relevant experience through multiple jobs in service, marketing and communication. Jones will be based at Avfuel's headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
