MC2 ramps up for growth

Bill Arsenault, president of Mid-Canada Mod Center (MC2) is pleased to announce the completion of the next stage in the evolution of Mid-Canada Mod Center and Kitchener Aero Avionics under a common and single brand, MC2. The new brand will be front and center to their participation at this week's CBAA Convention and Exhibition, being held at the Region of Waterloo International Airport from June 12 to 14.

In speaking about this change, Bill Arsenault said, “The past year has been one of internal reflection, and consultation with our customers and business partners; we looked at what we do well, where we can improve, and what we can leverage to provide better service and manage even greater growth. We have built our business over the last 40 years with two separate, mutually supportive business units. As we consolidate our business into a single operating entity under the MC2 banner, with two mod bases, we are streamlining our systems and functional responsibilities into dedicated roles that will allow us to provide more responsive customer service. Improved, consolidated MC2 service will continue to be seen in every facet of our support service, repairs, engineering, quality control and sales, from each of our Toronto and Kitchener locations, as well as every facility we visit to service our national MC2 customer base.

"Today we are excited to announce that our new brand MC2 will be common to both facilities and all that we market and do. This transformation provides MC2 with a stronger foundation to meet our customer needs as we launch this new chapter of MC2 growth."

MC2 (AMO #59-97) is focused on providing industry leading avionics expertise to the corporate and secnd tier commercial aviation markets. Its recent successes include ADS-B, other Next-Gen systems and integration, WAAS GPS, FMS with LPV, cabin entertainment and communication systems including the latest satcom and Wi-Fi applications. It has extensive background in cockpit redesign/modernization and is an industry leader in cockpit redesign and integration.

The YYZ office of MC2 is the corporate main office and is located in the North End Business Aviation area of Lester B Pearson International Airport (LBPIA) CYYZ.

The YKF complex is based in Hangar 53 on the north side area of the Region of Waterloo International Airport CYKF and is able to handle aircraft up to and including large Boeing aircraft.
