Duncan Aviation adds to Honeywell Primus II capabilities

Duncan Aviation's avionics and instruments repair shop in Lincoln, Nebraska, has added repair and overhaul capabilities for the Honeywell RM-855 Radio Management Unit (RMU), the primary interface used to control the Primus II radio system in the Primus 1000 and Primus 2000 flight decks.

With this added capability, Duncan Aviation is now able to service nearly all the units in the Primus II radio system. It has more than 25 years of repair and overhaul service experience on the RNZ and RCZ integrated Nav and Comm units, as well as the AV-850 Audio Panel, averaging more than 450 units every year.

According to Kevin Miesbach, Duncan Aviation manager of component/OEM business development, the repair shop is very familiar with Honeywell products. “Duncan Aviation has been aligned and collaborating with Honeywell for more than 40 years to bring a consistent quality to our mutual customers.”
