Since their launch in March 2017, Avfuel's two newest systems, Avfuel Network Referrals and Avfuel Network Rewards, have been successful tools for generating business opportunities for branded FBOs throughout the Avfuel Network.

In just a short amount of time, Avfuel Network Referrals and Rewards have gained momentum and traction, garnering the attention of pilots and FBOs across the Network. Since its rollout, nearly 50 percent of the more than 650 Avfuel-branded FBOs engaged with the new program by sending or receiving referrals. With Avfuel Network Rewards, Avfuel now provides hundreds of FBO employees with special rewards and benefits just for engaging with the Network.

“Rolling out the program to our entire FBO Network took a considerable amount of training and communication,” said Marci Ammerman, Avfuel's vice president of marketing. “To see it catch on so quickly, reaching about half of our branded dealers in such a short amount of time, is really encouraging and is a testament to the utility and benefit of the program. Our goal was to connect our locations with one another in order to work together as a true network and refer pilots between one another. That goal is being accomplished every time a CSR sends a referral.”

In true Avfuel fashion, the company didn't simply roll out the systems and let them go; it's been listening to customer feedback throughout the whole process and has already implemented a few new features that benefit FBOs and pilots alike.

“Now, when pilots follow their referrals, they earn extra AVTRIP Points from Avfuel when they land at their referred FBO,” said Ammerman. “It's a way to thank them for choosing to stay in the Avfuel Network, knowing they have options.”

“It's all about choices,” said Ammerman. “We believe that pilots deserve the best services, and we believe our FBOs offer them that. Avfuel Network Referrals is all about having the tools for FBOs to get connected and let pilots know that there are options out there when they're deciding where to fly.”
