West Star Aviation is pleased to announce Dana Varney as satellite manager at its KCXO location.
Dana began his career in aviation 22 years ago at Mayo Aviation as maintenance manager/accountable manager of an FAA Part 145 repair station. His responsibilities included overseeing all aspects and operations of the repair station to ensure quality and safety. He graduated from Aero Tech in 1995 and has obtained several factory ratings from Simuflight, Global and Honeywell.
As satellite manager for West Star's Houston, TX satellite location, KCXO, Dana will oversee AOG demands and provide local MX support for surrounding operators.
“We are pleased to have Dana join our team to guide our growth in the southern and surrounding regions. He will build and direct our satellite team in Houston to offer enhanced capabilities to our clients,” said Rodger Renaud, president, West Star Aviation.
