Press Release
Issued by Dassault Aviation.
January 13, 2017
Dassault Aviation will offer an expanded range of on-ground services to support customers at this year's World Economic Forum.
In addition to standard onsite troubleshooting provided by the Falcon command centers, special events support will include technical team assistance and offsite resources provided through the company's authorized service center network and its Falcon Response AOG service portfolio. AOG services will be supported by a pair of dedicated Falcon 900 airborne support aircraft that can also offer alternative lift if required.
This year's special event support effort will kick off at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, scheduled for January 17-20. The forum, which brings together intellectuals, business leaders and heads of state from around the world, results in an unusually large influx of business aircraft at Zurich, Basel and other nearby civil and military airfields. The Davos support team will work in coordination with Dassault's three Swiss-based Falcon authorized service centers, which are certified to perform maintenance on all Falcon models. If necessary, the team will also be able to draw on spare parts from Dassault's Paris-Le Bourget warehouse. Parts can be delivered onsite from Le Bourget within three hours.
Dassault also provides operator support at other major business, cultural and sporting events such as the winter and summer Olympics.
