Central Charter de Colombia joins Signature Select, further expanding Signature Flight Support's network in Latin America

Signature Flight Support, a BBA Aviation company, has announced at the 2016 Latin America Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (LABACE) that it has signed a letter of intent with Central Charter de Colombia S.A.S. located at El Dorado International Airport (SKBO/BOG) to become the newest Signature Select affiliate in Latin America. 

Signature's Latin America presence has recently expanded with new locations in Panama City, Panama; Toluca, Mexico and now in Bogota, Colombia adding to its 23 Lider Aviação locations in Brazil. “We see Latin America as a key region for continued expansion,” noted Maria A. Sastre, president and chief operating officer for Signature Flight Support. Sastre continued, “We continue to look for strategic expansion opportunities that are relevant to our global customers. Colombia's growing economy makes Bogota attractive to our customers and we are delighted to welcome Central Charter de Colombia to our global network.”

Central Charter de Colombia offers its customers comprehensive flight support services from its newly constructed 3.800 sq. ft. executive terminal. The terminal features two VIP lounges for customers stocked with top-shelf amenities and extraordinary service. The pilots' lounge offers self-service refreshments, computers, televisions, WiFi and two comfortable snooze rooms designed to accommodate overnight stays. Facilities for immigration, customs and permit processing are available at the FBO. Additionally, the company offers comprehensive aircraft charter and aircraft management services. Complete aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services are provided by a highly experienced team of technicians and the facility is an authorized service facility for Textron's Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft and is a certified FAA repair station. 

El Dorado International Airport, located in Bogota, Colombia is ranked amongst the world's 50 busiest airports and third in Latin America. The airport's was ranked as the Best Airport in South America by SkyTrax and 46th place in the World's Top 100 Airports in 2016.
