Swiss Aviation Consulting welcomes key account manager, Simon Diggelmann

Swiss Aviation Consulting has announced that Mr. Simon Diggelmann has joined the group this month. He is taking up the newly created position of key account manager in the CAMO team. Furthermore he will act as airworthiness review staff. His responsibilities include sales activities as well as anticipating and fulfilling the requirements regarding continuing technical management of the clients' aircraft.

Simon Diggelmann has been active in aviation since his youth and has held various functions in different sectors of the commercial and private aviation industry. His experience ranges from licensed aircraft engineer in the operational environment of line-and base maintenance to, most recently, technical manager for a large business jet operator. Simon holds an EASA B1/C license and has completed postgraduate studies in General Management.

“I am pleased that Simon Diggelmann has taken on this important new role within Swiss Aviation Consulting,” says Dr. Daniel Lütolf, chairman and managing director. “Recently we have successfully expanded our CAMO client base into the airliner leasing sector. Simon is a licensed engineer qualified on the A320 series. His experience will also serve and support our existing aircraft asset management clients adding expertise and capacity to the technical management of their long range aircraft.”

Swiss Aviation Consulting's CAMO services, including pre-buy inspections, aircraft acceptances and maintenance supervision, are offered by the group company SWICAMO GmbH.
