Jet Edge launches new operating base in Miami during Art Basel with third Gulfstream

Jet Edge, the leader in large-cabin aircraft management and charter worldwide, announces a new operating base at Miami's Opa-Locka Executive Airport with the addition of a Gulfstream G550, the company's third Gulfstream aircraft to be based in the region.

The launch coincided with Art Basel Miami Beach, the world's premier international art show for modern and contemporary works, where Jet Edge hosted an exclusive celebration for clients and vips at the private member's only club, Soho Beach House in Miami Beach.

"We are thrilled to kick off a new operating base in Miami and solidify our large-cabin aircraft presence in the booming south Florida market,” says Bill Papariella, president and ceo of Jet Edge. “Art Basel exhibits over $3 billion worth of art for collectors from all over the world, many of whom are clients and friends and fly into Opa-Locka Airport,” adds Papariella.

The Jet Edge event “Ascend into Luxury,” included an environmental transformation of the venue's rooftop showcasing the company's brand, several aviator models turned dancers, and a jet themed art exhibition commissioned for the event by London based pop artist Max Wiedemann, who was discovered by Karl Lagerfeld and thrust into the international art spotlight. The exhibition featured Max's interpretations of the company's GIVs on canvas, as well as a flagship neon piece entitled “the higher you fly, the more you see”.

“Jet Edge is redefining aviation industry standards in aircraft management, safety, and excellence in charter. We are the first to focus exclusively on large-cabin aircraft as we have built our fleet of 40 Gulfstream, Falcon and Bombardier aircraft based in California, New York, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Colorado, Atlanta, Hong Kong, and Tokyo,” states Papariella.
