EFS attracts CJ3s to new managed aircraft division
The Euro Flight Service (EFS) group has attracted its first managed aircraft, a new CJ3.

The Euro Flight Service (EFS) group has attracted its first managed aircraft, a new CJ3. Capt. Davide Golnelli, gm Italy, EFS Italia, says: "The aircraft is owned by a big Italian fashion house and will be operated by the EFS Group through its subsidiary TravelAir which has its own AOC. This is a big step forward as it represents, after two years of hard work, the launch of a new division to manage third party-owned aircraft. The division will provide an all-inclusive service, from providing the crew to carrying out the maintenance."

Golnelli adds: "We now expect a second CJ3 to come under management in September and a third one by the end of 2008." The EFS Group, which operates Citations including a 500 and a 650 for charter, strongly believes that the managed aircraft sector will grow very quickly in Italy in the next few years.

"We believe the energies we have invested in launching this division will prove very worthwhile," says Golnelli.
