Entry-level business looms large for PrivatAir
PrivatAir has put a 50 seat Boeing 767 into service as it reports growing "little and large" charter demand. Aurelie Branchereau-Giles, director marketing and communications, says: "The two categories that are most in demand are the large cabin aircraft at the top end of the market and VLJs at entry level."

The 767 joins a 28 seat 737 and a 49 seat 757 that PrivatAir charters from Geneva. "The charter market is very busy, demand for new business jets is at an all time high with particular emphasis on the ultra long range large cabin type," Branchereau-Giles adds.

"We intend to acquire a Boeing 787 in 2012 which underlines our determination to cater for the long range luxury market. However, we also work with partners to provide smaller aircraft and this sector is extremely busy as well."

Private charter demand comes from sports teams, big corporations including banks, as well as for intercontinental leisure trips.
