ExecuJet Europe is taking the first steps to build a presence in Moscow as Russian business owners form a growing part of its managed fleet.

Patrick Kleu, md, says the 56 aircraft in Europe, part of a 100-strong fleet worldwide, already has attracted several Russian owners and at least another four or five are set to join.

"There has been an explosion in the number of private aircraft owners in the last three years and we don't expect this to be just a dot.com-type boom," Kleu adds. "We expect the expansion to last a good number

of years."

ExecuJet Europe is looking to open an initial presence along the lines of a representative office in Moscow and expand that as needed to service its growing client base.

ExecuJet's primary European base is in Zurich with fully independent satellite offices and partners in Denmark and Germany.

It provides charter and other services as well as management and ground handling and FBO services

at Zurich airport and Roskilde airport, Copenhagen.
