Tyrolean Jet Services has achieved FAA Part 129 and Visa Waiver Approval, which should enable the company to conduct commercial flights to and from the United States.

The company has also announced the launch of a Global Express flight programme from Tokyo to Las Vegas.

Established more than 25 years ago Tyrolean Jet Services was one of the first executive charter operators in Austria, operating business jets for the Swarovski corporate flight department and other valuable clients.

The firm also runs an in-house maintenance facility and continues to add to its fleet with a second Global Express and a Citation II aircraft. The acquisition of the CJ2 forms part of the company's bid to develop a bigger local client base and represent the short range market. It joins an existing fleet that comprises a range of owned and managed aircraft, including a Citation VII, Global Express, Dornier 328 Jet and an Executive 328 Jet.
