Euro Jet appoints country manager for Croatia
Luka Spetic will ensure a smooth ground support operation and the highest quality of service for customers across all eight of Euro Jet's Croatian locations.
Luka Spetic takes over as Euro Jet's country manager for Croatia.

Euro Jet, a provider of ground support services in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia, has appointed Luka Spetic as country manager for Croatia, taking over from long-time manager Davor Brixy.

Known to everybody in the company simply as Brixy, the retiring country manager has been a beloved colleague and friend since the early days of the company. He has always been respected by colleagues, partners and customers for his absolute professionalism, lifetime commitment to aviation and a knack for bringing laughter into any workplace situation.

Brixy has Euro Jet's heartfelt gratitude for his many years of service and steadfast cooperation. Fortunately, he will continue to work for the company in its internal training programme, where he will share his deep aviation knowledge and years of experience with Euro Jet's ramp agents.

Brixy says: "Luka is not just incredibly smart; he also has a natural talent for aviation. Right from the start, he has shown an impressive understanding of how things work and possesses a skill for handling challenges with ease. He is a born leader, whether in a business meeting or while tackling administrative tasks. And he gets it done, quickly and correctly."

Spetic began his aviation journey working at Dubrovnik airport as a dedicated ramp agent for general aviation flights while completing his master's degree in aeronautical engineering. His career with Euro Jet kicked off following the surge in private aviation activity during the COVID pandemic in 2020. Thanks to his outstanding performance, he swiftly climbed the company ranks, first reaching the position of station manager for Euro Jet's Zagreb operation and now taking on the role of country manager.

"In recognising Luka's work performance and achievements, we not only value his professional success but would also like to express our support and commitment to nurturing new talent within Euro Jet and the aviation industry in general," says COO Tomas Chobot.

Spetic will oversee Euro Jet's Croatia team of on-the-ground agents in Brac (LDSB/BWK), Dubrovnik (LDDU/DBV), Osijek (LDOS/OSI), Pula (LDPL/PUY), Rijeka (LDRI/RJK), Split (LDSP/SPU), Zadar (LDZD/ZAD) and Zagreb (LDZA/ZAG). His objective will be to ensure a smooth ground support operation and the highest quality of service for customers at all Croatian locations.
