Opul Jets leverages established support partners
The new company is building on its working relationship with Sovereign Business Jets and SaxonAir to further increase operational capabilities and expertise as it grows both its fleet and its global footprint.
Opul Jets plans to add more business aircraft on to the G-register.

OPUL Jets, a new UK brand in the provision of executive air charter services, is teaming with established companies Sovereign Business Jets and Saxon Air Charter.

Its initial fleet comprises a Bombardier Global Express XRS on the 9H Maltese registry, plus G-registered Learjet 40 and Learjet 45 light jets. The aircraft are hangared at London Biggin Hill airport, with an alternative home at the Isle of Man's Manx Jet Centre. Additional jets will join later this year.

OPUL Jets was founded last year with offices and operations in London, the Isle of Man, India and Dubai. Clients booking direct or via a charter brokerage can take advantage of tailored VIP concierge services and inflight catering. Supplemental services include personalised security, chauffeur services, restaurant bookings and entertainment.

Sovereign Business Jets has 20 years' experience providing aircraft management, charter operations and latterly pre-owned business aircraft sales from its base at London Biggin Hill airport. AOC operator SaxonAir, headquartered at Norwich airport, has been working with Sovereign for several years, with crew experienced in Bombardier Learjet operations.

Opul CEO Harry Ackerman says: "We are delighted to build on this working relationship with Sovereign Business Jets and SaxonAir to further increase our operational capabilities and expertise in corporate aviation. It's an exciting time for us as we continue to grow our fleet, expand our offering and global footprint."

Barry Chalmers, CEO of Sovereign Business Jets, adds: "We welcome new charter companies to the private aviation charter market and are looking forward to supporting OPUL Jets from our base at Hangar 2, London Biggin Hill airport."

Alex Durand, CEO of SaxonAir, says: "Collaboration and teamwork are vital in our industry. OPUL Jets is a welcome newcomer and we applaud its plan to add more business aircraft on to the G-register."

Opul is also a member of the BBGA and EBAA.
