Elit'Avia begins restructuring as Gulfstreams arrive

Elit’Avia, provider of business aircraft sales, leasing, charter, aircraft management and related services with Slovenian and Maltese AOCs, is in the final steps of a restructuring plan to enhance its operations and better position the company to manage its growing fleet of aircraft under management through streamlining its operations.

“Our restructuring is a measured and purposeful step in remaining agile and ensures that we continue to deliver exceptional customer value for years to come,” says founder and CEO Michel Coulomb.

As part of its restructuring effort, Elit’Avia has chosen its Malta office as its European headquarters. “We are very pleased to announce this strategic consolidation of our operations to Malta, where we have had the pleasure to operate an office since 2008.”

Elit’Avia’s fleet is also continuing to expand. The company has added a Boeing Business Jet to its growing fleet of aircraft under management. This is the second Boeing to join its fleet; it already operates a Boeing 747-400 as part of its managed fleet, which was the first 747 to join a Maltese AOC.

It has also recently welcomed two additional managed Gulfstreams. A G450 has been added to the charter fleet and has already proved popular with the company’s charter clients. Additionally, a 2016 Gulfstream G650 will be joining the charter fleet, offering a maximum range of 7,000 nm, cabin height of 1.91 m, 0.90 Mach cruise speed and generous baggage space.

Elit’Avia has also offset 100 per cent of carbon emissions generated from all charter flights in Q4 of 2022. Carbon credits have been purchased through its offsetting partner Azzera in support of various projects such as waste water treatment, wind power generation and hydropower.
