As part of its ongoing investment in dedicated facilities across key real estate markets, NetJets has broken ground on a new exclusive-use facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. Its first from-the-ground-up NetJets Maintenance Service Hub will significantly improve direct collaboration with the US fractional operator’s supply chain partners, improving performance and increasing service efficiencies to its aircraft. Securing ramp space will limit traffic congestion and fuel delays and improve on-time performance. For its owners, this means seamless access to their aircraft so they can continue to depend on NetJets to get them where they need to be.

“At NetJets, our priority is to provide owners with safe, exceptional and seamless experiences. Our ongoing investment in expanding our real estate portfolio will continue to improve our industry-leading service, owner experience and maintenance abilities,” says executive vice president, administrative services Brad Ferrell.

The Scottsdale facility is part of the larger worldwide network of more than 10 NetJets Maintenance Service Hubs, all located at the regional facilities NetJet owners travel to and from the most. In addition to ongoing maintenance programmes with its aircraft manufacturing partners, NetJets makes an incremental annual investment of over $63 million in aircraft parts alone. This investment ensures maintenance partners always have what they require, for both planned and unplanned maintenance needs; this means more flight availability for NetJets owners.

The expansion of the NetJets Maintenance Service Hubs allows the company to proactively service and stock its aircraft, as every NetJets aircraft lands at one of the service locations every three to four days. The Scottsdale facility will house an inventory of aircraft parts to meet the specific needs of each jet in the fleet, contributing to the 753,000 parts that it already has on hand across the network. Meanwhile, owners can also take advantage of the on-site private boarding lounge where they can relax before their flight.

This new facility in Scottsdale will create more than 200 jobs within the market while servicing one of the top destinations for NetJets owners.
