West Star adds dedicated Embraer support at Chattanooga
The hangar has been equipped with LED lighting, fall protection and remodelled office and lounge space. A fuel farm tank with dedicated support has been added specifically to the Embraer product line.
The expanded facility has an additional 19,200 sq ft of back shop support space and leased hangar space to be used as a dedicated Embraer Support facility.

US MRO specialist West Star Aviation has expanded its facility at Lovell Field in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with the opening of an additional leased hangar space of 19,200 sq ft and 7,000 sq ft of back shop support space that will be used as a dedicated Embraer support facility. A ground breaking ceremony was held earlier in the month to mark the launch of the expansion programme.

The hangar has been equipped with new LED lighting, fall protection and a completely remodelled office and lounge space for the comfort of its customers. Additionally, a fuel farm tank has been added along with dedicated support to the Embraer product line.

“We are delighted to be able to offer this upgraded additional hangar and shop space, providing our team and customers with the much needed area to service even more aircraft. As an authorised Embraer base maintenance facility, the new space is a welcome addition for our Embraer operators,” says general manager Steve Goede.

West Star has also recently started construction on additional hangar and office space, which will increase the total operational footprint to approximately 256,828 sq ft once completed in June 2023.
