ExecuJet Haite and Metrojet acquire Funian Aviation
Reinforcing their already well-established positions as market leaders within the Asia region, the acquisition of Funian is a first step in the long term plans of the two companies.

ExecuJet Haite, a Part 145 organisation based in Tianjin and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Haite Group, and Hong Kong-based operator Metrojet have jointly acquired Funian Aviation. The transaction is expected to be finished in early July.

The acquisition is a major strategic step forward for both parties, allowing them to build on existing strengths in aircraft management, flight operations and MRO services. The acquisition is an integral first step in the future long term plans and relationship of Haite and Metrojet.

Funian was founded in 2017, with its main operational base and offices located in Shenzhen, China. Its focus is providing both aircraft management and high-end charter services, with extensive experience operating a fleet of Gulfstream G450/G550 aircraft. The company holds CAAC Part 91 and has a CAAC Part 135 air operator certificate, holds CAAC Part 145 maintenance organisation approval and has FAA Part 91 operation experience. It has also obtained IS-BAO Stage II certification.

“Funian has an excellent reputation for providing exceptional client service, and we strongly believe its values align with both Haite Group's and Metrojet's mission and standing. We are thrilled with the acquisition,” says ExecuJet Haite general manager Paul Desgrosseilliers.

“Through leveraging the combined strengths of Haite and Metrojet, Funian Aviation will continue to promote and provide superior business aviation services and solutions that meet the highest international standards of safety, quality and service in the Greater China region and abroad,” adds Metrojet CEO Gary Dolski.

Both Haite and Metrojet welcome a team of outstanding aviation professionals that averages more than 20 years of business aviation management experience. The company is well regarded in the Asia Pacific region for its excellent safety record, high aircraft dispatch rate and industry leading service quality.
