Avemex becomes first international operator to complete IAS
Avemex has completed its IAS certification, the first to do so outside the US. Avemex is an aircraft management and charter firm with 22 aircraft, an exclusive representative of Honda and Quest in Mexico.
Avemex is the first non-US operator to complete the ACSF IAS.

Aircraft management and charter firm Avemex, based in Toluca de Lerdo in Mexico, has become the first internationally based operator to complete the ACSF Industry Audit Standard (IAS).

"Avemex was interested in obtaining the ACSF Industry Audit Standard so as to evaluate all our internal processes and procedures with the best international standards in the industry, as well as continue to grow as a company and reach ever higher levels of safety,” says CEO Ing Manuel Girault Ortiz de Montellano.

The ACSF IAS is the first and only extensive audit programme specifically created for on demand operators by a committee of air charter and private aviation industry leaders. It is conducted every 24 months and is in-depth in its evaluation of regulatory compliance and the operator's safety management system, against both FAA and international standards.

ACSF president Bryan Burns adds: “As the name implies, the ACSF Industry Audit Standard is the most comprehensive industry audit available. And it's designed for those who want to go above and beyond minimum requirements. The IAS also gives aircraft owners and passengers peace of mind. When they see the ACSF audit-registered seal, they can rest assured that they're flying on a safe aircraft with highly qualified crew who live and work within a 'just culture'.”

Aviation customers are encouraged to seek out the ACSF IAS registered logo, and to urge their preferred charter provider to participate in the programme. The ACSF makes its operator registry and key company details available at no charge, so verification of IAS registration is quick and easy. Charter consumers can view the registry on the ACSF website.
