WingX expands into helicopter fleet tracking
With the introduction of short haul, eVTOL air taxi operations coming ever closer, WingX and Parapex have made a timely collaboration to jointly create and distribute global helicopter insights.
WINGX and Parapex Media are combining their market intelligence on the global helicopter market.

WingX and Parapex Media are to provide their combined market intelligence on the global helicopter market. Parapex has been involved in helicopter fleet ownership and deployment for over 20 years. By blending their relative capabilities, Parapex and WingX aim to create and distribute valuable insights to stakeholders in the global helicopter business, including operators, sales and charter brokers, service providers and investors.

WingX MD Richard Koe says: “We think this is a great opportunity to materialise the obvious synergies between our two businesses, and good timing, given the emerging and exciting convergence of business aviation and next-gen short-haul and eVTOL operations.”

Covering every civil-operated turbine helicopter in the western world, the business insight is provided by a combination of graphs, maps, data tables and downloads. Each user can select from the flight activity data based on a wide combination of factors including country, type of operation, operator, aircraft type, engine type and many others.

Parapex Media MD Jeremy Parkin adds: “This collaboration opens up new opportunities for the helicopter industry that have never been seen before. In combining our complementary knowledge and expertise, customers are afforded the ability to make better business decisions on the basis of accurate and well-presented data.”
