King Aerospace names director of quality assurance
Randy Stromski has joined King Aerospace as director of quality assurance, to oversee regulatory compliance, conduct AS9110C audits and update repair station manuals.
King Aerospace Commercial Corporation director of quality Randy Stromski.

Randy Stromski has joined Dallas, Texas-headquartered King Aerospace Commercial Corporation (KACC) as director of quality assurance. From his base at the company's campus in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Stromski oversees regulatory compliance, conducts AS9110C audits and updates repair station manuals. King Aerospace offers MRO and exterior paint for VIP and VVIP aircraft, specialising in the Boeing Business Jet.

“I've been interested in King Aerospace for years, but the timing was never right to join its team,” says Stromski. “I'm very happy to be part of this family-owned, employee and customer-oriented company. Its values align with mine, which includes going the extra mile to do things right.”

King Aerospace routinely performs work for Boeing, Cessna, Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft. Supporting both corporate jets and VVIP aircraft offers small fleet operators with both classes of aircraft a turnkey solution. King is the only privately owned company to both paint VVIP aircraft and provide interior refurbishment and maintenance, and one of only five suppliers worldwide to serve this market niche.

KACC also provides depot support services to sister company King Aerospace, which has provided contractor logistics support for the US Armed Forces and government. KACC has been honoured as a Boeing Supplier of the year for its collaboration and has successfully completed the prestigious Boeing Mentor Protégé programme.

“Randy understands and embraces our 'no excuses' environment,” says president Jarid King. “He's all about doing the right thing for the right reasons with the right attitude, even when no one is looking.”

Previously Stromski served as site manager for ACET Hawaii, where he supported C-40 (B737-700) aircraft and subsystems. He was the primary point of contact and interface with government programme authorities and representatives. His wide-ranging career has included leadership positions with Viasat San Diego, Mokulele Airlines, Gogo, AAR Aircraft Services, Bombardier Aircraft Services and Premier Turbines. His early years in the industry garnered solid, hands-on experience as an FAA principal airworthiness inspector, KC-135 aircraft inspector at Tinker Air Force, CRJ 200/700/900 heavy check maintenance supervisor for Bombardier Aerospace, lead technician for Garrett Aviation and aircraft mechanic for United Airlines.

“Randy's deep expertise helps him lead by example,” says King. “He will protect and maintain our quality at the highest levels.”
