Castellano appointment fuels US growth of ACS
ACS is preparing for further expansion across the US, particularly with its jet card offering, so the appointment of the hugely experienced John Castellano is an important part of its plans.
Air Charter Service vice president of commercial sales John Castellano.

Private jet and jet card provider Air Charter Service has appointed John Castellano as vice president of commercial sales at its Manhattan office in New York.

“We are currently 35 per cent up in terms of sales of private jet charters across our 10 offices in the region compared with the levels seen in 2019, pre-pandemic whereas, according to WingX figures, the market in general is about level. Off the back of our record year last year, we plan to invest further in the region," comments ACS Americas president Richard Thompson. “As part of our expansion plans we have brought John in as he has exactly the right kind of expertise to drive our private jets team forward and expand our jet card offering to a wider audience. John has 18 years of private jet experience and  has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry.

“While John will be based in our Manhattan office, his remit will cover all 10 of our offices across the Americas, driving forward our private jet strategy across the region.”

Castellano adds: “It's been a very insightful first couple of months, and I'm really excited about what we have planned. My initial focus will be further expanding our already thriving jet card programme. We are up against some companies with huge marketing budgets, but I feel the strength of our product will continue to drive new sales, particularly in a market where so many jet card models are struggling to adapt.

“I've been working with the team across our US offices, and I've been very impressed with their ability to source aircraft, especially in this market where availability is currently extremely limited.”
