Stevens Aerospace has bolstered two departments with the addition of Jerry Coots to its upper midwest sales team, aiding its expansion to the west and the promotion of Ricky Vongsiprasom in its AOG division.

Stevens Aerospace and Defense Systems has appointed Jerry Coots as regional sales manager serving the upper midwest states and has promoted Ricky Vongsiprasom to maintenance director of its AOG division.

Coots has a background in sales and experience as a corporate pilot in a range of jet aircraft. He joins a sales team primarily covering the eastern United States and aims to drive Stevens’ growth and coverage as they expand west.

“As we continue to grow each year, the need for deeper and more frequent customer interaction in this region became more evident,” says Phil Stearns, director of sales and marketing. “Jerry’s background, personality and location in the Chicago area all make for a great fit for the team and will serve our current and future customer base very well.”

Vongsiprasom joined Stevens in early 2018 as a technician on the AOG team, before advancing to AOG team coordinator, and now serving as maintenance director. He brings a decade of experience maintaining corporate aircraft from manufacturers such as Textron, Embraer and Pilatus.

“Ricky's knowledge and experience of AOG maintenance will move Stevens to a higher level of customer service and will be a great fit with our AOG management culture,” says Dendall Wood, general manager, AOG division at Stevens.
