Peregrine adds experience to its senior management
During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic Todd Bailey 3D printed and donated over 500 items of PPE to New York City nurses and he now becomes the vice president of operations for Peregrine.

Peregrine has added Todd Bailey to the executive team as vice president of operations, bringing with him over 30 years of aerospace engineering and management experience.

The aircraft engineering and certification firm located at Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colorado, are expanding its current avionics and certification capabilities with the addition of the structural design and fabrication experience that Bailey brings it, including over 15 years in engineering and programme management in the roles of manager, director and president.

He has experience in utilising additive manufacturing for the development of rapid prototypes, short-run tooling and complex production parts. Peregrine says customers can expect significant cost and schedule savings over traditional tooling and fabrication methods commonly used during the development of supplemental type certificates and installation kits.

Bailey’s engineering, leadership and management expertise range from aircraft OEMs and modification facilities to the founder and president of AirMods LLC, an AS9100-certfied structural design and fabrication company. He led a team of eight engineers and technicians through a wide variety of aircraft modification programmes and 3D-printed over 500 items of free PPE for New York City nurses during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We look forward to expanding the range of engineering and certification services that Peregrine offers to our customers. With Todd's background and our additional manufacturing capabilities, we will be able to include the production of installation kits and hardware to our expanding range of services," says David Rankin, president, Peregrine.

Peregrine hope that Bailey will provide additional focus to its goals of achieving FAA-ODA delegation and expansion and diversification of its customer base through his experience in special mission aircraft modifications and accessories.
