Hongkong Jet, which owns and operates the largest BBJ fleet and the second largest ACJ fleet in Asia, intends to arrange trips for its customers to resorts in southeast Asia, because several destinations have fewer travel restrictions than the surrounding areas. The company is currently looking to secure exclusive deals for its clients.

“Owing to flexibility and safety, demand for private jet travel witnessed a surprising boost at the early stage of COVID-19,” comments CEO Alex Jiao. “But soon after, various global travel restrictions were implemented by different countries. As an operator, it is a big challenge. Nevertheless, we successfully flew our clients internationally during these challenging times. We can see our clients are keen to get flying again. We are certainly seeing an increase in domestic routes now as local restrictions continue to ease. Our team is optimistic, looking forward to post pandemic life and dedicated to providing the safest and most professional business aviation services.”

Hongkong Jet has been developing widebody aircraft as its core fleet. The company is also considering investing in further aircraft types, and is looking to develop the range of technical support services on offer from its MRO.
