Despite pandemic difficulties, Luxwing has found a way to increase its fleet and services. It says that new market conditions have led to new solutions. The most recent additions to its fleet are a Phenom 100, available in Ancona Falconara, and a Gulfstream G150, available in Turin. The G150 is a midsize jet with long range at high speed, and it also features an advanced cockpit and a comfortable cabin.

The choice of Ancona Falconara and Turin is the result of precise market research. Luxwing is quite sure the area is more than a market niche, and hopes that it will prove to be a rich territory full of dynamic industries.

“The new base had a good start in 2021,” comments commercial director Daniele Guida, underling that the company's workforce is adapting well to new measures imposed by COVID. The operator is also growing in the transport of dangerous goods including explosive and radioactive material.

“Our most popular aircraft depends on the market request,” Guida adds. “There is a dedicated market for every type of aircraft. The difficult part is to find it, but once you've found it, the market is yours. Our typical client is a businessman that needs to go quickly and safely to a destination for agreements and the signing of contracts, but we have also serve a good number of VIPs that choose Luxwing for the quality of service.” The company is developing a new product that will be revealed in the next two months. It has started to transport anti cancer drugs using its cargo fleet. Guida hopes that the medicine will save many lives and is very pleased to be part of the project.

“Like all unexpected events, the ongoing pandemic has given us the opportunity to reinvent ourselves and look for new markets. That’s how we reached agreement with Ancona and Turin airports and increased the fleet,” Guida concludes.

Luxwing now has a fleet of more than 25 aircraft, from the Embraer Phenom 100 to the Legacy, covering a wide range of business aviation needs.
