Solairus delighted to bring in industry veteran Davenport
David Davenport has served on the NBAA board of directors, the board of governors for Corporate Angel Network and in leadership capacities for The Wings Club. For his next challenge, he has joined Solairus Aviation.
Davenport is a United States Air Force Academy graduate.

US-based Solairus Aviation has added aviation industry veteran David Davenport to its executive leadership team.

Davenport is a United States Air Force Academy graduate, holding a bachelor's degree in Business Management. He completed a more than 20-year career with FlightSafety International, most recently as its president and CEO. He has served on the NBAA board of directors, the board of governors for Corporate Angel Network and in leadership capacities for The Wings Club.

“Solairus has always stood-out as a safety-first organisation, with a unique culture and a heavy emphasis on hiring and training the right people for the job, whatever the job is,” he says. “Joining Solairus will give me an opportunity to leverage my experience in the industry and build upon the considerable platform already in place at the company. I am looking forward to supporting Solairus' managed clients and the long list of outstanding team members.”

“Having great people on the team is fundamental to the success of any business,” adds Solairus CEO Dan Drohan. “Adding Dave is a perfect example of how we strive to emphasise the value of people, not just planes. In order to support our clients, employees and expansion, we have to continuously attract and retain the very best in the industry. Dave represents just that type of opportunity for us.”
