Winter destinations are the focus for PrivateFly fixed rates
PrivateFly's City Pairs, first launched in 2019, are route pairings on specified aircraft types with prices fixed and are guaranteed, rather than subject to usual market variables. Many clients are seeking a winter getaway.
European City Pair rates are available for flights departing on or before 31 December.

Private jet provider PrivateFly has revealed a new selection of fixed-rate private charter routes ahead of the winter season. The launch of new city pairs follows a rise in demand for private jet flights, as clients seek to escape after the lockdown, for holidays in Europe or for winter sun in the Middle East.

PrivateFly's City Pairs, first launched in 2019, are route pairings on specified aircraft types with prices fixed and are guaranteed, rather than subject to usual market variables. New route pairings from London include winter travel destinations such as Dubai, the Canary Islands and a range of other popular European destinations, including ski areas. Clients can choose from routes with lower-than-average prices on the same or an equivalent aircraft.

PrivateFly CEO Adam Twidell says: “Following the month-long UK lockdown, we are now seeing a rise in flight demand as we approach the end of the year, with clients heading to a variety of destinations in Europe, and a strong interest in flights to Dubai. In a year filled with so much uncertainty, we are happy to be able to offer guaranteed pricing on select routes this winter. Private jet travel continues to have compelling appeal as travellers look to get away in their own bubble with the least possible exposure to COVID-19. People are still booking at short notice, and we are now starting to see a pent-up demand to travel throughout December and January.

“By committing to volumes on routes that are operationally efficient, we can ensure clients can avoid the uncertainty of private jet charter pricing in the open market, which can vary considerably and increase at peak times when aircraft availability is limited.”

The fixed rates are guaranteed thanks to PrivateFly's relationships with key operator partners, including those within the wider Directional Aviation family, as well as by committing upfront to volumes on selected routes.
