Embraer registers a respectable 13 jets in second quarter
Embraer's activities have taken a hit from the virus pandemic, but despite interruptions it has still managed to deliver nine light business jets and four large aircraft. This is only slightly down on figures it returned in 2019.

Embraer delivered 17 jets in the second quarter of 2020, of which four were commercial aircraft and 13 were executive jets. Of these nine were light jets – seven Phenom 300s and two Phenom 100s – while a Legacy 650, a Praetor 500 and two Praetor 600s comprised the large aircraft deliveries. As of 30 June, the firm order backlog totalled USD 15.4 billion.

In the second quarter of 2020, Embraer delivered fewer commercial and executive jets than in the the second quarter of previous years, largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the same quarter of last year, Embraer delivered 14 light jets and eight large jets.

In the executive jets segment, the OEM announced the first delivery of its new, enhanced Phenom 300E to Texas law firm Dunham & Jones.
