Molloy joins Killick as COO
As its distribution relationship with the OEM goes from strength to strength, so Killick has seen fit to offer the newly created position of COO to former Bombardier leader Bill Molloy.
Long time Bombardier man Bill Molloy is now COO of its aircraft parts and engine solutions distributor, Killick.

Dallas, Texas-headquartered Killick Aerospace Group has appointed aerospace industry veteran Bill Molloy chief operating officer, a new position within the aircraft parts and engine solutions company.

As COO, Molloy will be responsible for driving sales growth in all areas of Killick's portfolios, creating new business development opportunities and evolving execution on the recent business aircraft parts distributor acquisitions. Last October, Bombardier selected Killick as its exclusive worldwide distributor for Learjet 60 spare parts and materials, and as an authorised non-exclusive distributor of spare parts common between Learjet 60 aircraft and other platforms. The company is also a distributor for Bombardier Challenger 600 and 601 spare parts.

“This opportunity really excites me,” says Molloy. “With Killick's presence in commercial and business aircraft on parts and engines, there is great potential to drive significant growth with new and existing customers. In addition, I am confident that we can develop new business opportunities that will create greater value for the group in the next two to three years.”

Prior to this appointment, Molloy was with Bombardier Aerospace for 30 years, holding various leadership positions in both the commercial and business aircraft divisions. His responsibilities included the development of the customer support infrastructure for the CSeries (now known as the A220) and managing the parts services organisation supporting over 6,500 commercial and business aircraft globally.

In his most recent role as vice president, aftermarket sales, business aircraft, he led an ambitious transformation delivering outstanding results over the past three years.

“The addition of someone with the talent and experience of Bill Molloy is a win for our customers,” says CEO and president Russell Starr. “I have no doubt our organisation will be able to grow and perform at an even higher level with the addition of Bill, which ultimately benefits our customers and partners in the commercial aviation and business jet markets.”
