Textron to be a service fulfiller in Manila
Textron will be able to strengthen its global network by opening in the Philippines, where Caravans and King Airs are prevalent. PhilJets will provide localised knowledge and expertise to facilitate a smooth transition.
PhilJets and Textron are working together to improve private aviation services in the Philippines.

Textron Aviation has opened a new service location in Manila in collaboration with PhilJets Aero Services. The facility currently offers expert maintenance work on Beechcraft King Air 200, 250, 300 and 350 aircraft registered in the Philippines, and is pursuing type certification for Cessna Caravans and Beechcraft King Air 90 aircraft.

Located at Ninoy Aquino International airport, the facility offers 13,000 sq ft of hangar space with an adjoining parts room and customer lounge.

“As we've demonstrated with multiple expansions and investments, we are committed to serving our established and growing customer base in Asia,” says Gabriel Massey, Textron's VP and general manager of Asia Pacific service. “Working with PhilJets to expand authorised service options in the Philippines brings expert service closer to our customers and strengthens our global network.”

The opening of a new Manila location follows the recent expansion of Textron Aviation's Singapore parts warehouse and establishment of a new Australia parts warehouse. In addition, the company grew service options in Australia by expanding the appointment of authorised service facility Premiair Aviation Maintenance across a full suite of Textron Aviation platforms earlier this year.

“PhilJets is honoured to be part of the entry and investment of a major global leading aircraft manufacturer in the Philippines,” says chairman Thierry Tea. “Textron Aviation's expansion in Manila demonstrates the company's long-term commitment and strategy to further invest in aviation in Asia for years to come.”

PhilJets Aero Services provides aviation services for the Philippines and the ASEAN region. The company offers a range of services from aircraft acquisition and sales assistance to aircraft management and maintenance for customers from general aviation, commercial airlines, MRO companies and government agencies.
