Aircraft lift instrumentation and control systems manufacturer Safe Flight Instrument Corporation has promoted Matthew Greene to president. Since joining the company in 2004, Greene has undertaken increasing responsibilities in sales and marketing, contracts and leading programme management, which has led to his most recent position as executive vice president. As president, he will report to the chairman and CEO Randall Greene.

“I look forward to Matthew's leadership and growth for the company as we complete our 73rd year providing leading edge safety, performance and control systems to the aerospace industry,” says Randall Greene.

“It is a tremendous honour for me to serve as president of this iconic company that my grandfather founded in 1946, an organisation that has been under family leadership for three generations and over seven decades,” Matthew adds. “I look forward to the opportunity in guiding the strategic direction for the great employees and valued customers of Safe Flight.”

Headquartered in White Plains, New York, Safe Flight Instrument Corporation pioneered the development of Stall Warning and Angle of Attack, Automatic Throttle Systems, Wind Shear Warning and many other innovations in aircraft instrumentation, flight performance and control systems for fixed and rotary-winged aircraft.
