Voluxis gains LCY approval and full US capability
Part 129 operational status underpins Voluxis' commitment to improving its charter services and, along with London City airport approval, is an exciting step for the company.
Voluxis has received approval to operate out of London City airport.

UK-headquartered Voluxis has received approval to operate out of London City airport. Charter sales director Michael Cooper comments: “With this approval we will be providing passengers based in the city of London with a fast and efficient connection within the UK and Europe, making it possible for business executives to have their morning catch-up in the city whilst being able to make their important lunch meeting in Geneva, Frankfurt, Brussels or Paris.

“It is not an endorsement available to every aircraft type, but we are pleased to have gained approval on two of our Hawker aircraft, including our newest Hawker 800XPi. We believe this will be an especially popular aircraft with our broker clients, as it can fly six passengers in individual club seats and has extra baggage space for a long weekend away.”

The operator is also now fully compliant to operate within the USA without the need for passengers to have a visa. Accountable manager and director of flight operations Andrew Boxer-Missen says: “We're delighted to say that we have successfully acquired Part 129 operational approval, a customs bond and Visa Waiver membership to enable full USA capability. This approval is particularly important for our broker clients booking our Global Express XRS and Falcon 7X aircraft for transatlantic charters.”
