Executive shuffle boosts Airbus Helicopters
Airbus Helicopters is implementing a new executive committee on 1 September 2019, with the goal of improving efficiency and developing collaboration within the company.

A restructuring of Airbus Helicopters' new executive committee in September will simplify and strengthen cross-function collaboration within the company.

“The aim is to be leaner, improving our efficiency and developing collaboration within the company. To achieve this, we have regrouped certain functions into single organisations such as programmes, quality and aviation safety, and operations. Bringing strategy as well as the DTO and company transformation functions to the executive committee is essential in preparing the future of our business” says CEO Bruno Even. “I am confident that this new team will continue to boost our performance and bring value to our customers.”

Alain Flourens, currently executive vice president industry, will be nominated executive vice president operations, covering industry and procurement. Wolfgang Schoder, currently executive vice president light helicopters and governmental programmes, will be nominated executive vice president strategy and remain general manager of Airbus Helicopters Germany and the representative for German authorities. Matthieu Louvot, currently executive vice president customer support and services, will be nominated executive vice president Airbus Helicopters programmes, taking over the light helicopters and governmental programmes from Wolfgang Schoder, who will then lead the new unified Airbus Helicopters programmes organisation as of 1 January, 2020.

Christoph Zammert, currently head of programme support, will become executive vice president customer support and services and become a member of the Airbus Helicopters executive committee. Mathilde Royer, currently head of global set-up optimisation project, will be nominated as digital transformation officer and head of company transformation and become a member of the Airbus Helicopters executive committee, and Bernhard Weigl, currently head of aviation safety and quality, will become a member of the Airbus Helicopters executive committee.
