ARGUS pledges utmost security for user data
A-LIGN, an independent, third-party auditor, found ARGUS International Inc. to have technical controls in place and IT security policies and procedures, awarding it ISO certification to protect electronic information.

Auditor ARGUS International has received ISO 27001:2013 certification for its information security management system (ISMS).

The organisation takes threats to the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of its clients' information seriously. As such, its ISMS has received third-party accreditation from the International Standards Organization (ISO).

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an information security management system standard published in October 2013 by the ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

A-LIGN, an independent, third-party auditor, found ARGUS International Inc. to have technical controls in place and formalised IT security policies and procedures. A-LIGN is an ISO/IEC 27001 certification body accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to perform ISMS 27001 certifications. ARGUS International has implemented several security measures and countermeasures that protect it from unauthorised access or compromise and IT personnel were found to be conscientious and knowledgeable in best practices.

Compliance with this internationally recognised standard confirms that ARGUS' security management programme is comprehensive and follows leading practices. The scope of its ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification includes the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets and support service lines related to market intelligence and data research; the design and supporting process pertaining to the development of software as a service for the aviation industry safety management system (SMS); and flight tracking, ratings, and charter due diligence systems.

This certification demonstrates ARGUS International's continued commitment to information security at every level and ensures clients that the security of their data and information has been addressed, implemented, and properly controlled in all areas of its organisation.

“Protecting our customer's information is a top priority for us, and we don't take that responsibility lightly,” says CEO and president Joe Moeggenberg. “This certification offers us an opportunity to demonstrate how much we value customer information and the extensive security precautions we exercise to protect user data.”
