Carlisle strives to be safest through ASAP sign-up
There are now more than 200 operators signed up to the Air Charter Safety Foundation, and Carlisle Air has gone a step further by participating in the Aviation Safety Action Program on top of this.

Portsmouth, New Hampshire-based Carlisle Air Corporation has joined the Air Charter Safety Foundation's (ACSF) expanding membership. The company, which offers aircraft charter, acquisitions, sales and management, will also participate in the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), created in cooperation between the ACSF and the FAA.

Along with more than 200 other member companies, Carlisle Air supports the ACSF's vision to advance the highest levels of safety in personal and business aviation through the promotion and facilitation of risk management programmes.

VP of operations Brendan Tozer comments: “We strive to be one of the safest charter operators in the industry, and we see our membership in ACSF as a means to help us accomplish that goal. We see the ASAP programme as a value-add for our membership in ACSF, so we're looking forward to our active involvement in it.”

ACSF president Bryan Burns adds: “Clearly, Carlisle Air's rationale for becoming an ACSF member points to its commitment to promoting and practicing safety above and beyond what is considered regulatory.

The ASAP programme goes several steps further to identify and reduce possible flight safety concerns, as well as mitigate risk.”
