Dassault to extend frontiers following ExecuJet MRO takeover
The ExecuJet MRO network has worked on a wide range of aircraft types since 1991. Dassault is investing in this expertise by acquiring the ExecuJet maintenance activities from parent company Luxaviation.

Dassault Aviation and the Luxaviation Group have negotiated a deal for the OEM to acquire the worldwide maintenance activities of ExecuJet, a Luxaviation subsidiary. Subject to obtaining the required approvals, the ExecuJet maintenance activities will be gradually integrated into the Dassault Aviation group throughout 2019.

“The acquisition of ExecuJet’s MRO operations will strengthen our global footprint, especially in Asia Pacific, Oceania, Middle East and Africa,” says Dassault chairman and CEO Eric Trappier. “With ExecuJet, we will continue the development of our high quality customer support network, while growing our Falcon market share.”

Luxaviation acquired ExecuJet in spring 2015, including its MRO facilities, FBOs and aircraft management activities. The sale agreement with Dassault Aviation is limited to the maintenance activities of ExecuJet and will allow Dassault to strengthen its worldwide presence. ExecuJet personnel and successful service levels will be retained.

Says Luxaviation CEO Patrick Hansen: “Selling our maintenance activities to a European group, whose excellence is recognised around the world and acclaimed by a multitude of excellence awards, allows Luxaviation Group to refocus on its core aviation services and to further concentrate on innovation and invest worldwide into the sector's development."

Executive VP of MRO services Graeme Duckworth adds: “Our worldwide team has been providing state-of-the-art maintenance activities for decades. Its excellence will continue to be accessible to all private jet owners globally. The shareholder changes but ExecuJet will maintain its identity and its leadership. We will benefit from valuable synergies within the Dassault Group."

ExecuJet provides maintenance support capabilities for a diverse collection of aircraft types in 42 countries throughout the world. Services offered by ExecuJet's MRO facilities for the largest aircraft manufacturers worldwide are certified either by the FAA or by EASA. Factory-trained technical staff offer specialised fuselage, engineering and avionics services. ExecuJet's MRO facilities have won numerous quality and service awards over the last few years.
