Universal Avionics (UA) has appointed Kim Stephenson to the position of regional sales manager for Canada following the retirement of former post holder, Norm Matheis, after 11 years with the company.

Stephenson is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and brings with her over 20 years of aviation industry experience. Before joining UA she held various sales and business development positions at L-3 Aviation Products, Texas-based Mooney International Corporation and Team Aircraft. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and is an Instrument Rated commercial pilot. Stephenson has also served on the board of directors for the Aircraft Electronics Association.

“We are excited to have Kim join our sales team,” says director of sales Robert Clare. “Her wide-ranging aviation experience, as well as her tenure as a pilot, will ensure her success in providing effective solutions for our customers in Canada.”
