Enstrom receives NZ type certificate for 480B
Enstrom piston aircraft have been flying over the skies of the Land of the Long White Cloud for many years. Type certification for its 480B means the company's customers can introduce turbine operations too.
The turbine 480B has now been added to Enstrom's New Zealand type certifications.

Enstrom Helicopter has received New Zealand type acceptance for its Enstrom 480 series helicopter by the CAA of New Zealand.

“The Enstrom helicopters, with their rugged features and great safety record, are a perfect fit for New Zealand,” says director of marketing and sales Dennis Martin. “The three bladed, fully articulated rotor system is a good choice for the windy conditions and mountainous terrain.”

Enstrom piston aircraft have been operating successfully in New Zealand for many years, but this latest type acceptance approves Enstrom's turbine powered 480B for operation there. Martin adds: “The first 480B is already on its way from the US and we look forward to our New Zealand customers getting a chance to see what a modern, cost-effective turbine Enstrom can do.”

Enstrom's entire product line is currently certified in over 40 countries including the United States, Australia and the UK.
