Sapphire Pegasus awards debut
Last month the inaugural presentation of the Sapphire Pegasus awards took place in Prague. The evening was held to celebrate the achievements of companies across the spectrum of business aviation, and was organised by Antonia Lukacinova and Media Tribune.

Last month the inaugural presentation of the Sapphire Pegasus awards took place in Prague. The evening was held to celebrate the achievements of companies across the spectrum of business aviation, and was organised by Antonia Lukacinova of Media Tribune.

EBAA CEO Fabio Gamba provided the opening address: “This initiative could not come at a better time as I believe that in these challenging times, it is important for us to celebrate our successes,” he said. “The awards are a tribute to the business aviation industry, especially in central and Eastern Europe, and it is with pleasure that EBAA is involved with an event that recognises excellence.

Award winners included: Meridian Air Company – business jet operator; Colibri Aircraft – broker; Jet Aviation – MRO facility; FBO Riga – handler/service provider/ FBO; London Farnborough airport – business aviation airport.

Dagmar Grossmann was presen-ted with an outstanding achievement award for her dedication to the industry throughout her life.
