Dubai charter broker Private Jet Charter (PJC) has secured a joint venture deal with London Oxford-based management, sales and acquisition specialist Jet Connections. The deal will offer aircraft management services to the region's fleet of 395 business jets, which will subsequently be rolled out to Europe and Africa. The joint venture comes amid a Bombardier Business Aircraft forecast that the Middle East fleet could grow to 745 by 2023 and 1,405 by 2033. “There is a strong demand among aircraft owners to outsource different requirements, from the initial process of purchasing the aircraft to all other aspects of maintenance, catering, staffing, clearance and so on,” says PJC founder and chief executive Hugh Courtenay. “This partnership will complement our core business.”

Adds Jet Connections managing director Zaher Deir: “The joint venture will give us access to the global network of PJC at locations including London, Nice, Moscow, Florida, Dubai and Jeddah, and later Africa and India.”
