Atlas Air Service has delivered the first Citation M2 in Europe to Müller co-ax ag, a manufacturer of co-axial valves from Baden-Württemberg in Germany. The business jet landed at Bremen Airport after its transfer flight from Independence, Kansas.

Cessna's M2 is the successor of the CJ1+. Winglets provide lower aerodynamic resistance while the laminar wings constitute a significant change to the look of the aircraft. The redesigned cockpit is equipped with the Citation Intrinzic flight deck of the Garmin G3000 with touch-screen technology.

The M2 has eight to nine seats, and is capable of speeds of up to 400 kts and a range of up to 1,300 nautical miles (2,400 km).

“In view of its flight performance and better price in comparison to its predecessor, this jet is an attractive entry-level model,” remarks Hans Doll, Atlas Air Service sales director. “Cessna has created an ideal upgrade for pilots of turboprops, Cessna Mustang or the CJ1+.”
