King Air upgrade increases safety margins
Southampton-based South Coast Air Charter has ordered a Blackhawk engine upgrade for its King Air B200.

Southampton-based South Coast Air Charter has ordered a Blackhawk engine upgrade for its King Air B200.

"We are delighted to enhance the performance of our excellent Super King Air aircraft," says director Alison Steel. "The upgrade will improve the aircraft's reliability and efficiency while adding an increased safety margin in flight operations."

Blackhawk president Jim Allmon presented Steel with a signature leather flight jacket to mark the order. "We are pleased that South Coast Air Charter is our 150th King Air customer, and we are confident that MCA Aviation, our partner in the UK, will deliver a flawless system installation," he says.

The XP61 upgrade installs two factory-new PT6A-61 engines with new engine warranties.
