Gulfstream names John King director of Field and Airborne Support Teams

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation recently appointed John King as director of its Field and Airborne Support Teams (FAST) operations. Based in Savannah, Georgia, King reports to Mitch Choquette, vice president, customer support, Gulfstream.

In his new role King oversees the company's efforts to ensure a swift, coordinated response to operators needing unscheduled maintenance. Gulfstream FAST includes

more than 100 dedicated technicians worldwide, two G150 aircraft and 12 specially equipped vehicles.

King joined Gulfstream in 2013 and most recently managed Gulfstream's FAST teams in Hayward, Long Beach and Van Nuys, California; Las Vegas and Seattle. He has more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry.

A U.S. Army veteran, he also holds a U.S. Federal Aviation Administration aircraft and powerplant license.
